Reference Range

Total Bilirubin will be reported with the gestation and age specific phototherapy limit as defined by NICE CG98. Results above the phototherapy limit will be telephoned to the requesting clinician.

Conjugated bilirubin: 0 – 5 umol/L

Test Usage

The neonatal bilirubin profile measures total bilirubin and conjugated bilirubin.
