Search for: ‘Parvovirus B19 IgG and IgM antibody (Ref)‘ or test code ‘LAB800‘
50-70% of pregnant women are immune to Parvovirus. We can check for immunity in pregnant women in contact with Parvovirus rash. If non-immune send repeat serum immediately and after 4 weeks.
Please state date of contact if this is an investigation of contact of rash in pregnancy, and stage of pregnancy (or EDD)
