Patients on oral anticoagulants cannot be tested for LA but will be suitable for anticardiolipin antibody screen.
If a Thrombophilia screen is required please send 3 green tubes along with full clinical details
As with all coagulation tests the tubes must not be underfilled.Haemolysis should be avoided.
