You are now able to download results of microbiology tests for samples taken by the Royal Devon without the need to contact the laboratory to request them.
GPs and/or their admin staff have the ability to look up results for their patients in ICE – this includes primary and secondary care reports as ICE receives all pathology results.
If there is a secondary care report in ICE that the GP would like in their clinical system, they have the option to download it from ICE. This sends the report out via GP links to their inbox in their clinical system.
To download results from ICE the user will need to launch the results view – the attached presentations will tell the user how to do this. Once the user is in ICE result view. They will notice a download button against each report. Clicking on this will initiate the report download to their system.
